Our Amazing Council Chairperson is Commissioner Cindy Jones-Mills. Commissioner Mills is a founding council member and an outspoken and well-respected advocate for her tireless work surrounding drug prevention. She also chairs on our Drug Summit Committee along with the Council's Speakers Committee and contributes to our success as a knowledgeable ambassador everywhere she goes. Thank you Commissioner Mills, for your passion and dedication concerning drug prevention.
Our Phenomenal Fiscal Agent is the United Way of Forsyth County. We are grateful for their support, direction, and continual in-kind donation of our facilities as we slowly grow ourselves into a well-organized and highly productive organization. Our gal is to eventually become our own non-profit as we carefully progress through this metamorphosis from organic group of concerned citizens to well-oiled organization building a solid history of producing successful outcomes for our community.
Our Fantastic Council Members consist of over fifty citizens, professional, and community leaders who participate at various levels and give their time and talents to make our coalition accomplished and recognized throughout the state. Some of our council members, all volunteers, have been with us since the coalition's conception in 2013. Others are newer and bring in needed growth and perspectives as the coalition slowly matures each year. There are also Council Members here for only a special project or extent of time, but all make substantial contributions through their donations of time and skills that ensure the success of drug prevention work within out county.
